If you pulled 21 G’s hitting a wall at work, YOU might consider a career change too.
Luciano Burti is still recovering from his nasty accident in Belgium. Docs have told him to rest and he’s now considering his future and might go race in another series.

Burti hasn’t been around in F1 long, but F1 does have a habit of eating it’s wounded. Mika Hakkinen is one of the few exceptions when it comes to drivers who’ve had bad accidents. Alex Zanardi and Karl Wendlinger are two drivers who immediately spring to mind as being dumped on by F1 after huge accidents.

Speaking of Zanardi, it’s great to hear that he is remaining so positive after his horrific accident in Germany which caused him to lose both his legs. Apparently he’s been calling his CART team boss saying he’ll be better for racing now since he weighs less, and has been commenting about how he can now decide how tall he is
.

What happened is very sad, but it warms the heart knowing that a guy who was near death a few short weeks ago is making light of his horrible situation.
